When diagnosed with a terminal illness in 2016 I didn’t imagine I’d see the day my first pamphlet, never mind book, was published. I was afraid because my life expectancy is fluid & scary & something I try not to think about. I made it guys. We made it. Thank you. 💜

Hi everyone! I’m looking to get back into part time work in the healthcare and creative writing fields. Please get in touch if you have any ideas or projects. I have experience working with NHS England as well as charities such as Hospice Uk, Together for Short Lives. #OpenToWork.

I was first in a corridor labelled mini resus, then mini majors… on a trolley for 36 hours. They had to do ward care. This was in October. It’s way worse now by all reports. I’m on a ward now, but the thing that haunted me was that on the corridor in the way to the wards is.
I'm an A&E consultant and I'm tired after a weekend of nights. But this am, I've handed over what I described as a "good department". This was said genuinely and with no hint of irony. We provided great care and have very short waits to see an A&E doctor, but I'd forgotten how.
