Apex is a Halo player's playground. So many its mechanics packed into this game, in terms of movement, decision-making, and shooting. BR's are a tough pill to swallow for me when it comes to fulfillment, but Apex really hits the spot.
Satisfying.
Unfortunately, my attitude towards racism is always disappointment and am never surprised, ever. With that being said, how does this happen,
@Halo
?
Let's actually talk about this because I'm confused.

I know I've been simping mad hard for this game, but it's just undisputed; Halo Infinite is fun as hell. 343i and co really pulled this shit off.
I've got some hands to shake at Raleigh.
Without further ado, here is our official roster going into Halo Infinite:

My addiction to soloqueuing in Halo Infinite rivals what mine was for H5. Regardless of the circumstances, it fuels me. I love being this insane.
Stream goes live this evening.
This might be the most important advice to 99.9% of players in not just Halo, but also esports in general. Many players suffer from the lack of an ability to take legitimate criticism, regardless of how it's dealt to them when it could actually improve them.
We are ALL students.
The Halo TV series has gone really rogue. It feels like how Disney chose to take this generation's line of the Star Wars films (minus Rogue One).
The plot/writing seems intentionally unidentifiable. It feels ambiguous, muddy, and the character development is spotty/unconvincing
Ultimately, I've got nothing but love for everyone involved here during my C9 chapter. Since day zero, my experience here has been one of major growth and maturation. It has been a pleasure working with these boys along with everyone at C9.
Now, a new chapter awaits.
(1/4)
I am no longer of G1 and have stepped down as the active coach of their Halo team. I wish things could've been different, but ultimately, I hope for nothing but the best for those boys.
As for me, to be continued...
Respect. Simple as that. I believe in the effort and work being put in by the devs especially given what I've seen out of Halo Infinite to date. Makes me sick and disappointed to read what looks to be the summation of the pure lack of common decency by some in our community.
343’s community lead posted a lengthy message on Reddit explaining some of the decisions in Halo Infinite playlist selection and more. Well worth a read.
One thing that would be an absolutely fantastic feature to Observer mode in Halo Infinite is the addition of a mini-map. In my experience of learning and understanding esports games, a mini-map display accelerates my comprehension as a viewer, tenfold.
Add it to the list 📒🖊
In celebration of our team winning this week's HCS Pro Series tournament, I'm giving away four Cloud9 skin kit codes!
How to qualify:
- must be following
@Cloud9
and I
- must RT
- must reply to this tweet tagging 3 friends
On Monday (1/17), I will pick that lucky group of 4!
Also, I have to tip the hat to the boys on OpTic for conceding the win to us in that Game 2 when one of their games crashed at 46-40. Many, many teams would've contested that instance and motioned for a restart w/modified win conditions, despite the context.
So proud of my team. It's an honor to be all that I can be for them. Coaching is more than meets the eye. It's more than what's on a notepad. It's more than the ticks of time.
One thing's for sure; I am forever a student.

In order for Halo Infinite to be exciting to watch as an esport, it needs the HCS radar and BR start. Maps are a major question atm. Grapple isn't for competitive setting imo; too abusive.
Thrust should be a thing in competitive, whether it's immediate or eventual imo.
The SSG Global Invitational was undoubtedly one of the best events ever put together. I immediately could tell it was an event put together by authentically passionate Halo/esports enthusiasts, inviting a bunch of people to their big-ass "basement" for one unforgettable weekend
Thank you to every single person that played a part in making this
#HaloWC
event possible. GG's to everyone we played and to Optic for the victory...this year has been one hell of a ride.
Major shoutout to all of the family, friends, and fans of our squad for the support. Much💙
Being that Season 2's Partnered Team skins are now vaulted, I will be giving away five
@Cloud9
S2 skin codes! Equipping these adds at least a +10 IGL skill boost.

This is indeed not a hoax! Big shout out to Native for bringing me on board. I'm excited for this upcoming year! Cooking up something serious over here. Let's get it
Regarding Halo, I will be officially committing to coaching from now and into Halo Infinite. I am extremely excited to take my experience from these past few years in Halo 5 coaching and refining the craft in a major way this year.
The push for dominance starts now.
#JustACoach
Proud to be going into the 2024 HCS season with these gentleman and re-signing with Native Gaming! This roster is special in so many ways.
Let's be great...HERE. WE. GO. 🔥
I've officially resigned from Denial Esports. This was well overdue, but my want for not giving up on players and the brand and its improvement was too strong. With everything I had, I hoped that I could be part of a solution and make positive impacts for everyone involved there.
I tried recommending that we play our series vs FaZe on mainstage multiple times but it was what it was. Just an awkward feeling having to play on Feature when mainstage was wide open, coupled with the immense tech issue delay.
Nonetheless, Lower Bracket run initiated
One thing that was super apparent this weekend was the love/support from family at this event. It was so profound. I think about parenting a lot these days...more than ever, although I don't have any kids myself yet. It really is the greatest duty of all...it's not praised enough
Just wanted to say thank you to
@HCS
,
@DreamHackHalo

One more to go until LAN. Plenty of work to be done; lessons upon lessons. Short turnover coming into this last online tournament.
Halo is a fucking battlefield!
Microsoft is flexing hard and I'm liking it. We're about to see a golden age for Gears, and Halo is on deck like Halo has never been before.
This is exciting
I will no longer be moving forward from this point on with Native Gaming (wht) as their Halo coach. This decision was made solely by me, as I ultimately thought it best to do so.
Nothing but positive things to say about
@NativeGaming
and the folks there. All love and thank you!
Major GG's to Optic, they played us well for the victory today. Super proud of my guys and how we were able to bounce back throughout this weekend. Eyes locked on Worlds and looking forward to the process from here!

The World Championship is next - we'll see you there and we'll be ready.
#LETSGOC9
Sweatiest online Halo tournament in a long time, so super shout out to FaZe for throwing this Invitational. We take 2nd Place 🥈 but I loved that test for us.
GGs to everyone and absolutely cannot wait for HCS Kansas City - this event is going to be one hell of a show!
I'm about to be that guy, but we are in a DMR honeymoon phase, which is cool actually, but that joint isn't starting-weapon material by a long shot (he...he..hehe).
Basically what I'm saying is, bring back the Carbine. Quit playing with me
I just want to take a moment to shine some light on this guy I'm seen here with. His name is Travis Pahler and he is one of the most passionate, hardworking, and remarkable people that I've come to know.
The symbolism here - it really is a story within itself. Love this photo
I need to give a huge shoutout to all the photographers that go hard in the paint in this thing we call esports. Passion.
These shots are absolutely fire 🔥

We're witnessing the future of gaming right here right now in this very moment.
A young

lord playing while holding the controller upside down style. Insane
343 should adopt this practice for Infinite as well. Currently, Halo players do it for various reasons, but in the future when population is as high as it's ever been, I can only see this benefitting the ecosystem. Smurfing is a serious issue and it should be gotten in front of.
Pro Tip:
For any teams that are looking for an organization to sign with, going into HCS Raleigh, reach out to them instead of solely relying on your announcement tweet.
