Completely agree. Someone who worked with her at PMO once told me that there is no one better in the country at GOTV. It's the softer stuff in a campaign like managing people, or tactics like being able to pivot or moderate positions which she didn't excel. It's a fair.
Jenni Byrne deserves credit for running the campaign that won Canada’s only Conservative majority government since 1993 - in 2011. I don’t think she could have prevented the 2015 loss. 2025 was a solid outing but didn’t pivot fast enough to Trudeau’s departure and Trump tariffs.

Alan is 100% correct on both points.
I believe politicians' homes and families should be strictly off limits to protesters, no matter the cause. I also believe as a general rule of thumb that when politicians back the wrong side for the wrong reasons, that side will eventually turn and and try to swallow them whole.
