In tomorrow’s edition of the @StPatsProgramme we have our fourth article on the 1965/66 season. Ginger O’Rourke returned, Willie Roche got married, Paddy Dowling signed for Pat’s and we had a historic event - the first ever substitute in LOI history, Des Downey. 🔴⚪️

An absolute gentleman who had nothing but words of support and encouragement every time we met. I loved the surprise visit bringing the FAI Cup down to him after we finally won it in 2014. He was the last goalkeeper to win it with St. Pats in 1961. Rest in peace Dinny. ❤️🧤
