Alongside today’s book launch, Mayor Cllr Darren Byford & @BElliottAuthor officially revealed new permanent displays here at @NCMME. They’re dedicated to the stories of miners who contributed so much in wartime, including the remarkable ‘Tunnellers’ of the First World War.

#Museum30 This time last year we made the #Discovery of a Barnsley Christmas carol that had been lost for 90 years. It was picked up by the BBC and the song by Arthur Godfrey has been heard across the world! We are now making a music video, which will be released 10 December
