OUTRAGEOUS. The way they squeeze every last rupee from the middle income group would make a pickpocket blush. I bought an @HDFCERGOGIC policy on PhonePe and now I am told I cannot get the GST cut because it was not bought on the HDFC website. Ridiculous gatekeeping, nothing else!
This is why people do not trust @HDFCERGOGIC @HDFCBank_Cares anymore. I paid the premium they asked for, they made me wait 8 days and now they want another 6.5K. GST went down yet my premium went up. Madness. Has this happened to you too? @BeshakIN, can you help?

Arogya Sanjeevani is an IRDAI mandated retail policy, not a group scheme. GST on retail health policies was removed by the Govt, yet @HDFCERGOGIC is still charging it. This hurts the very families this policy was meant to protect. Fix it. @BeshakIN

@HDFCERGOGIC Harshal, my policy was purchased by me. Arogya Sanjeevani policy for family counts as an individual retail health insurance policy if it is issued or renewed by me for my family (self, spouse, parents). Those are treated as individual health insurance policies for tax purposes.
