How it works: balances are tied to each user’s selected currency, but under the hood, everything is pegged to USDC on-chain for consistency. That way, no matter the fiat chosen, the contract keeps it stable and interoperable. #SuiNetwork

After zig-zagging through bugs, failed builds, and facepalms… I finally got my backend pulling currency balances 🎉

Then jumped to the backend. Thought it would be simple. spent hours fixing this bug, only to find out my frontend was hitting the wrong route

Started the day like: “Oh, I’ll just wire up a smart contract real quick.” Reality: hours later still arguing with the compiler.

If you’re building on Sui + zkLogin, don’t give up when things break. The struggle is literally part of the process.

Today taught me again: the road to shipping is full of small fires 🔥. But every bug fixed = another step forward.

The backend is now running, and my app has: zkLogin with Sui ✅ User wallet integration ✅ Backend connected to MongoDB ✅

Turns out the culprit was IP whitelisting on MongoDB Atlas. 👉 You have to whitelist Railway’s dynamic IP (or allow 0.0.0.0/0) before Atlas will let your app talk to it.

Deployment wasn’t smooth either. When I deployed to Railway, MongoDB Atlas threw: "Could not connect to any servers in your MongoDB Atlas cluster" 😭

Then came the backend… 😅 Set up Express + Mongoose Faced endless errors with connections At one point, mongoose.connect() kept screaming undefined because my ENV variable wasn’t set properly.

✅ Got zkLogin working on my app. This means users can sign in seamlessly using their existing Web2 accounts (Google, etc.) but stay connected to Web3 under the hood. Magic. ✨

Today was one of those grind-it-out days in my builder journey. 🚀 I started with zkLogin on Sui for my app and ended up going through a rollercoaster of backend + database struggles. Here’s a quick breakdown

This is still early, but I believe the future of payments should be: ✨ Borderless ✨ Frictionless ✨ Community-powered And I’m betting on Sui Blockchain to make that real.
