Our guide was the heart of the safari, patient with our child, a brilliant storyteller, and a master tracker. 🦁.She managed exclusive sightings all to ourselves from cheetahs to playful lion cubs.

Bush picnics were unforgettable. 🌅🍴.From breakfast to sundowners, you’d park under an acacia tree and the Ritz touch took over. One morning they even set up a full kitchen in the wild, eggs made to order, hollandaise whisked fresh. 🍳.Fine dining, in the middle of the Mara.

Dining was split between The Nest (main restaurant) and The Canopy lounge for pre-meal drinks. 🍸🌿.But the highlight was freshness + freedom. The menu was just a guide. we could order anything, anytime and it always came with Ritz finesse.

Between drives, we each found our own space. 🌿✨.I loved the Canon studio, free cameras for the stay, editing, even lessons on shooting the Mara. 📸.Our child was pampered at the kids’ club with beading & games 👧 while my wife enjoyed the spa,another fav was the Map room.

What made it extra comfortable was the service around the room:.✨ Housekeeping always timed when we were out.✨ Free laundry + shoe care (rare on safari).✨ Room service anytime from sunrise coffee to late-night snacks

And the magic: waking up to elephants, watching the night sky from our deck, and drifting off to the sound of lions roaring. 🐘🌌🦁

The lodge sits on the Sand River, right at the Kenya–Tanzania border, directly on the Great Migration path. 🐃🌍.20 elevated suites with decks + plunge pools face the savannah, walkways thread through forest. Stunning design… but the location is controversial (More to it later)
