We went on our own Gruffalo trail around the school grounds following our maps. As we met each of the characters and objects along the way, we added our own actions and sounds. 🌳🪵 #HCPSReception

Painting pebbles…these beautiful creations will form part of the water feature area in our outdoor well-being area, Irene’s garden. The garden is in memory of supergran Irene who dedicated years to supporting High Cross children with reading and gardening.

We arrived in school this morning to find labels placed all around our classroom. We think Mole from the story Dangerous visited us, as he likes to label things everywhere he goes. I was blown away with the fantastic vocabulary that Reception shared. #HCPSReception
