Our Thursday throwback this week is a lovely pic of the old An Oige, women only, Youth Hostel in Robinstown, Co. Meath. Opened in 1938 and closed, winter 1942-43 when the lease was terminated. Looks like it would have been a beautiful building in it's heyday. Pic by John Martin.

This awesome Thursday throwback gives a new appreciation to the words 'men at work'. This photo was taken around 1926 and depicts sailors hard at it aboard the GUSTAV, a four masted steel German barque.
