This is incredibly funny because a few of the best games I've played aren't 100% perfect in their gameplay but I pushed on because the story was that good. MGS1 is a perfect example of this. Sometimes gameplay isn't the be all or end all if the story is brilliant.
Gameplay > story . Every single time.

PS4 and Switch come very close IMO with their libraries being strong but PS2 practically appeals to everyone with the amount of stuff on there.
There will never be a console as good as the PS2 ever again.

I remember being able to preorder my PS5 because my retailer jumped the gun on the day of the presentation and for nearly 2 months before the launch I worked my socks off until we were put under a second lockdown. It paid off
What is everyone’s fav gaming memory? Doesn’t have to be PS specifically, tho mine is. Mine is getting my PS4. Was the first console I bought with my own money. I got it about a year after launch and worked a whole summer to get it. 1/2.

I own both consoles and quite frankly while I appreciate Game Pass and the ecosystem. The Series X itself hasn't been pushed to its full potential. I still have it to catch up on some of the Xbox games I haven't played yet but I find myself using my PS5 and Switch 2 more.
I had both new consoles launch day and only Series X felt more like a mid-gen refresh. One of the most disappointing next-gen consoles I'd ever bought. Bar Falconeer, no exclusives. Launch games ran better on PS5. Same laggy UI. Near same clackety pad. #PS5 actually felt nextgen.

Mafia: The Old Country is a short game, confirmed by developers to be similar to Mafia: Definitive Edition (~ 10 ½ hours).
