Never underestimate the goings ons within a 3 year olds mind. Completing the psychoeducational assessment, M blew through age appropriate questions and proceeded to successfully respond to questions designed for children 2-3 years older. Proud dad.

Healthcare folks, can anyone point me towards literature/QI articles on the implementation of Person-centered rounds on pediatric mental health inpatient units? Myself and our librarian are coming up blank.

New week, more peer support. I'm excited to support expansion of our peer support services to two additional inpatient, child and youth mental health units this week. AMA

Cue parents across North America posting their childs name, school, year, and age online. Track memories and milestones, but be mindful of what you post online.

@TransLink So my biggest question, why is fare enforcement the issue @TransLink /media seem to be focusing on? What narrative does this drive which results in additional funding for transit?

@TransLink Having gone way too far down a rabbit hole into TransLink operations. I can't find data on total number of suspected fare evaders to properly calculate ROI. Fare evasion is a messy topic. From folks who can afford and choose to misuse the system to many who can't.

According to Indeed, the average salary of a Transit Officer is between, $89k - $153k. Assuming the new 8 officers are junior. @TransLink is investing an additional $712k annually into security. Disregarding potential broad value, each would need to issue 513 fines annually.

Assuming enforcement focuses on busses because fare gates exist on SkyTrain. Based on @TransLink 2023 report, busses have roughly 752,000 Average Daily Boardings(weekdays). Not accounting for transfers/monthly pass holders, assuming everyone paid. That's $2.4M daily.

First. Fare evasion is wrong. Curious, promoting the addition of 8 new officers and 100,000 checks, @TransLink can you help us better understand the matter? # of fines issued Y/Y average for fines % of fines actually paid? I wish @GlobalBC asked.

TransLink said Tuesday it was boosting fare enforcement patrols on the transit system 'to reduce fare evasion, educate riders about fare payments, and improve safety.'

Fellow parent recently posted a video, "20-months and she's already better at using a phone then my mother." With enough exposure, Toddlers can do a lot of things that may surprise you. Parenting is hard and screens are easy distractions, but perhaps Candy Crush can wait?

Beyond the fact that the thought of driving from Vancouver to Portland with two toddlers terrifies me. This is a beautiful reason to fly to Portland. https://t.co/rd07jprwSz

The new PDX terminal in Portland has an eye-popping roof and other unique elements that set a high bar for airport design.

Parent corners of social seem to discuss it constantly, but is it a thing? Parents, did you mourn any of the "last time" moments in your child's early years? (or beyond)

A service that reviews and makes it easy to purge all of a parents online content referencing or depicting their kids. Or I just wipe all my social accounts when my kids become tweens. (But that's not very practical.)

When an ASD assessment specialist asks you to take your child out of daycare for 15 minutes to join a virtual call so they can ask a few questions. Are you trying to dysregulate her?

Today I learned Microsoft have an independent PIA for the use of Teams within Canadian healthcare. Who knew 🤷 Zoom still seems to offer a better experience for guests (patients/families) to log into calls.
