Dear furPals I have very sad news: today we had to let Toppo go 🌈💔🌈his hind legs had not regained full mobility & he was poorly internally with both bowel & bladder incontinence & the situation unlikely to improve - the vet came to our house - Mummy cuddled Toppo to da end😭😭

Toppo here - Dad visited today and took me for a walk using the bottom sling. Then we had a big cuddle and ate woast chicken. My legs are moving a bit better, but still can’t bear weight. Did they really need to shave that much of my back? I’ll be a laughing stock!

Toppo Update - I walked around with the aid of a sling and dad holding me up. Can’t support my own weight or do a wee for myself yet. Still staying at the vets for now. Time will tell...

Toppo Update - He’s staying at the vets hospital & having a CT scan today, with a vet who does spinal surgery arriving Tuesday morning - still can’t move his back legs, but seems in less distress than last night. He ate some roast chicken & got lots of fuss from M&D. We miss him!

Breaking news update on Toppo! I’m home furpals!! I still haven’t wee wee’d but I’ll be going back to the vets every day at tea time so they can express my bladder with a temporary catheter! I was even turning around in my garden looking for the right spot...🤞🏼💦🤞🏼

Ted here with some worrying news. Brofur Toppo damaged his back late yesterday & was in discomfort, but within an hour could not move his back legs & was rushed to the vets hospital. He is still there & heavily sedated, we are very worried & keeping our paws crossed 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Ted here, this is my new brofur Bruno. On our walk he tried to impress us with his gymnastic ability, to be precise... a handstand piddle. That’s right with both back feet off the ground! I’ve told him... no one likes a show off!

Ted here, we’ve just heard from the vet that Toppo is out of surgery and doing ok. It will be a week before he can come home and it might be a month or so before he can walk properly. We all miss him so much!

Toppo here - I’m still at the vets and no wee yet. But I have been standing briefly on my own, I got fed woasted chicken, went for a little walk wiv the bottom sling and got a big cuddle from dad. Here I am being clutched to his ample bosom!
