Sadly we have had to stop flying to Islay after many years operating there. Our final flight was last Thursday The fire crew gave the aircraft a water canon salute as we taxied-in 😥 Thanks to all the staff at Islay for help and assistance over the years.

Well Oban Airports open day was a huge success with I'm told over 800 people attending. Despite the windy conditions we managed to operate nine 15min scenic flights and the feedback from everyone was fantastic.

You'll not see this everyday. Our our parent company (Airtask) are are operating the Atmospheric Research Aircraft up to Loch Linnhe today to carry out some experiments so don't be alarmed if you see a large jet a/c flying along the loch at some fairly low levels. 1400-1700 ish.

So we send GHEBS down to Leeds for some routine maintenance and what happens.. she ends-up getting legless! The good news is we should have her legs (AKA the dangly bits) shortly and have her home for next Friday. Apologies to all for the disruption to the flying programme.

The flight to Fair Isle from Shetland today only took 20 minutes but it’s easily the most dramatic and incredible flight I’ve been on. Very inspiring!
