If you’re around wild waterfowl, avoid touching them or their droppings. Wash your hands afterwards. If you have cats or domesticated poultry & let them roam, attempt to keep them away from waterfowl. #AvianInfluenza #BirdFlu #Handwashing

Wild birds can carry a variety of icky germs. Waterfowl are more likely to spread Bird Flu, which can make domestic poultry, cats, & dairy cows very sick. Bird flu can also spread to people working closely w/infected animals, particularly if they have a weakened immune system.⤵️

Comparte tu presencia, no tus gérmenes.

#RSV #Pregnant

(1/2) Avian influenza isn’t that far away, as the wild bird flies🪿. Fortunately, Howard County has a pretty low risk of agricultural impact, and an even lower risk of someone becoming infected with avian influenza. All the same, if you have a backyard flock🐓... 👀⤵️🧵

Share your presence, not your germs. •Wash your hands after sneezing, coughing, or blowing your nose •Back away or turn your head so you don’t cough & sneeze in the direction of other people, food, or high touch surfaces •Cough into your elbow, not your hand #HealthyHolidays
