Update: I have managed to fix the graphical issues! (Note: The performance on the recording is bad because iOS 15 is doing some intensive background tasks on startup for some reason, it becomes fast afterwards)

[seizure warning] I'm making progress with iOS 15/16 support in the Inferno emulator (formerly QEMUAppleSilicon). iOS 15 has restored and booted, but there are graphics artefacts, which I'm currently looking into.

Looks like my device is updating with the full IPSW, so the problem is likely not with the TSS servers, but my device's software update being bugged, and of tools like tsschecker. But something definitely changed in the TSS service to cause it.
