From learning how to execute the perfect pass or run block, to instruction on running effective pass routes and more, Hays CISD middle schoolers are having a blast this week as they participate in the annual Johnson Jaguar Football Camp!

It's the end of an era at Hays CISD as the district on July 22 bid a fond farewell to the annex buildings that were part of the original Central Office facility. Those annex buildings stood for many years and housed numerous departments.

Going on this week at Hays High, incoming 7th, 8th and 9th grade Hays CISD students were head over heels with excitement as they participated in the annual Hawk Wrestling Camp!

Offering young people vital instruction that could one day be used to safe a life was the focus July 16 as Hays CISD’s Student Health Services hosted their second Stop the Bleed event of the summer! Thanks to @BudaFireDept, @AscensionSeton Hays and all of our volunteers!

It is with tremendous pride that we announce Hays CISD has been selected by @TXarted as a 2024 District of Distinction, an honor bestowed to only the top 5.5% of school districts eligible for the award. Congrats to all of our visual art educators on earning this amazing honor!

From sage to lime, to shamrock, emerald and all shades in between, Hays CISD on March 25 displayed our green as we together became Hornet Strong. On Monday, our Hays CISD community wore the color green in support of @hornetstrong following this past week’s tragic bus crash.

Crosstown competitors, Hays and Lehman JV and Varsity boys and girls soccer teams will be going head to head Friday night. Both Lehman teams will be celebrating Senior Night as well. Girls soccer will be at Hays Highs' Shelton Stadium and boys soccer will be at Lobo Field.
