But one thing ima say that hasn’t been said is what was really off putting is the way Rocky was talkin to Denzel. I get it, it’s a character, but damn, that’s a legend. You could be every part the antagonist without verbally humiliating the character. I felt that was over the top

Someone said it seemed like a Tubi film someone else said it was Empire-esque. Both extremely accurate. lol

I’ll always love Spike, have the utmost respect, he’s a legend, etc etc. but I think he would be better suited as an Executive Producer at this point. He would prob get the same amount of acclaim while putting on new/underrated talent that have fresh perspectives.
