My new to me @JohnDeere ExactEmerge planter fell on its face for the accumulator test. Ran the air purge test and valve flush and tests. JD availability looks sketchy. Run without them? 3rd party parts?

side dressing #narrowrow corn. track tractor, RTK, and the bulk rows cheated out to ~21.5". 8.5 mph. Took a couple seasons to dial it in. Works great now

Great data for those trying to pencil out roi on planter upgrades and tech
Archived photo (L) shows plant spacing variability (spacing in inches on stakes). Is this acceptable? Research shows 1.5-1.7 bu/ac loss for every inch standard deviation (SD) (R). The SD in the photo only ~1.6", which equates to ~2.6 bu loss. The SD can never be zero.
