Great to be part of today’s ‘homeless in regional Victoria session’. We all need to advocate loudly, evolve what we’re doing to get better outcomes for clients and aspire to greater levels of social and affordable housing in all communities. #HomelessnessConf22

Heartening to hear from @JulieCollinsMP at the #HomelessnessConf2022: Real leadership requires us to reframe the conversation around affordable housing. This is happening in our backyards now and we all know someone impacted by housing affordability challenges in Australia.

Great decision by @GreaterGeelong to engage with the community on land for social housing. Having a safe and secure home is critical for people's health and wellbeing and the Geelong region needs more social and affordable housing urgently. @Hwtippet @TimesNewsGrp

The community will get to have its say on whether three parcels of council-owned land, worth more than $3.6m, should be transferred over for social housing. The sites are in Corio, Belmont and Bell Post Hill. Consultation opens tomorrow until Wed 6 April -

Proud to partner with @HomesVicGov to increase the supply of affordable housing in regional Vic.
In the last year, we have invested close to $100 million in regional Victoria to help with housing affordability.
