On Jan 7, at night, I was at a play with some family & friends in downtown Tehran. On my way home, I saw groups of mainly masked ppl setting fires in d streets. My friends saw people starting fires & firing guns. This was a shock as Iran is a very peaceful country. #ایران

Yesterday, I went to the remnants of a very popular mosque in Tehran called Abuzar. I could still smell the smoke although it was attacked 10 days ago. D majority of people in Iran are Muslim. Churches & synagogues exist & are respected in Iran. So who would burn a mosque & why?
