2022-2023 school year is off to a great start! There’s lots of learning, friendship, and fun going on at HVES!

Math is so much more fun when you do it with a partner! Started to explore our student workplaces making arrays and multiplying numbers 😎

Opened our library with a book tasting! We even found some book characters that look very familiar ☺️🥳 cant wait to see what else we discover together this year!

We’re learning about gravity, force, and motion while we work on our final science unit of the year! Today teams constructed swings and ramps. We had races in the hallway and talked about Newton’s Laws of Motion. ⚙️🔴🛝@HarborViewES @CCSDConnects

Our “SUMMERTIME” countdown continues in 2nd grade! ☀️Today was our Read-a-Thon Day for the letter R. 📚Students brought in a stuffed animal, a blanket, and few favorite books from home for a fun, flashlight parter read this afternoon. 🧸📖🔦@HarborViewES
