Crime gangs use these vehicle jammers to steal high performance motor vehicles with keyless technology. Thanks to Big Merl not one of the males attempted to make a run for it. They were all transported to the local station for searches and interview. 4/5

A further check of the van and a few more barks located another 2 males in balaclavas hiding in the back, in possession of a vehicle signal jammer & a large machete. All 4 males were arrested for burglary, possession of a weapon, theft of motor vehicle & going equipped to steal

Together the team were able to detain 2 subjects, in their balaclavas, within the front vehicle. Taking 1 look at Big Merlyn the 2 males decided it was best not to run and complied with his handlers instruction. Our awesome colleagues from ARV arrived & secured both males.

🐾PD Merlyn🐾 Sometimes a good old bark is enough. On Thursday night Merlyn and his handler responded to a report of a burglary in progress in Oxford. Merlyn and his handler located a stolen van tucked away in the supermarket car park. 1/5

Pacer can be kennelled outside or brought inside, however, this will be new to him and could take some adjusting. For more information or if you think you may be able to help please pop us a DM and we will get back to you.

Pacer would be able to live with other dogs providing they themselves are not dog aggressive and is able to integrate well off lead, however, can be reactive whilst on lead, therefore he’s typically walked with a ball to prevent barking.

Other than that Pacer is a very happy& healthy dog. Our Retired Police dog charity Pension4Paws would look to offer support for this medication during Pacers retirement.

Pacer is a 7 1/2 year old German Shepherd Dog &loves life, however he does have a life long medical condition which is managed by medication. Pacer lacks the ability to produce an enzyme to help digestion, therefore one pill with every meal helps with this.

🐾Forever Home🐾 What a fantastic dog Pacer has been during his service. He’s nabbed countless criminals in his all star career, protecting the vulnerable, securing evidence & bringing so many to justice, now it’s time for him to hang up his harness & head into retirement.

PD Hudson had a busy night shift last night. A male ran off from officers after hitting a victim with a bottle and Hudson tracked him down. Then 3 masked men were snooping around cars. Hudson tracked them down and detained all three 4 in custody thanks to Hudson and his handler!

Then into a garden area which was having some ground works completed. Terra told her handler that someone was hiding in a drain hole under the house. And there he was… FOUND YOU. He was arrested for breaching the restraining order and escaping lawful custody.

Jumping out of a second story window and making off into the neighbourhood. Terra and her handler got to work & started searching gardens climbing over various fences, finding signs that someone had been there before. 2/3
