Thank you very much for your help, Chloe. I actually had 2 journalists reach out to me and explain that Chloe is once again attacking the CPA, asking what is her problem? I told them not to worry about you, we have our job and she has hers. However, it's very nice you would like…
Yesterday, Patrick Lefevere made comments to the media about his employee,

. The
@cpacycling
should have made a statement defending their rider. They haven't, so I drafted one. Feel free to use it

.

we 'don't want to add fuel to the fire' sounds a real cop out. Understand that you are there for the riders and that quite right. Don't you think you also have a responsibility in ensuring that the sport we all love is conducted in a respectful and professional way?

Given the relative power of the parties involved in this kind of thing & the limited number of potential employers, I doubt any rider would ever want the CPA to speak publicly!
Adhering to their wishes is laudable but surely just delays improved conditions for the whole peloton?

Adam,where as I agree totally that no specific detail about your riders representation should be in the public domain, surely a statement stating you have spoken to the rider concerned and advising him would have sufficed?
