At some point you aren’t going to get more ready. I think the Celtics will be incredibly cautious with him but if he’s running and sprinting and jumping full speed in practice then really he is as ready as he will ever get.

I would not buy low on the Celtics season for that reason. I think they will be very mediocre without Tatum and I think Tatum will be rusty enough that the Celtics won’t contend but they are definitely playoff bound
