Got to host a 4H Academy for @PurdueABE this week. They came excited & ready to learn! They got the basics of #solidworks & created a 3D printed frame for the micro pulling tractors. They also learned the ins and outs of engines, autonomous programming, and the 1/4-scale tractor!

Sometimes the cleanup is just as fun as the science 😂 turns out the best way to clean these little bottles is to create the reaction first @PurdueABE

New skill unlocked this week! Ok. I still am not ready to create my own designs in the software. but I am now capable of prepping the printer and hitting start to get a successful print!

Bottle washing day! Not exactly my favorite lab task. but there is something satisfying to watching the dirty pile get smaller and the clean pile get bigger! 200 bottles cleaned, now they just need to dry so I can get them back to #WREC for the next sampling blitz.

In high-speed of course 🙃

But, what do you do with all that goop?? Split it into little squirt bottles for little kid hands, and give it a test run of course! @PurdueABE

Y'all. The #fermentations are fermenting 😂 this is quite possibly the biggest #ABESeniorDesign fermentation I've seen yet. Props to the group making gin this year in the giant jug. I could sit and watch these bubbles all day @PurdueABE

I got to spend time this afternoon helping @PurdueAgWeek Hammer Down Hunger by packing meals with Pack Away Hunger. In just the first hour we packed over 12,000 soy-rice meals that will be used in our community and around the world to fight hunger!
