My plan for the day got ruined :(. Wanted to pick up something to be productive and then immediately go to Galaxy comics but they’re both closed, one of them cause it’s Tuesday and the other cause it’s past 5:30 . Gonna go replay Deltarune so I can have my 100% save.

And lastly is dropped storylines! . They completely ignore a separate supernatural force that only appeared in the first half of the movie that involves the guy’s parents. Then there’s this whole running theme of the guy being called dead but no payoff whatsoever.

Fourth, since it’s saying that it’s right for people to be 2 halves of a whole person, it’s kinda polyphobic. It doesn’t give any nuance for relationships just 2 people need to be together no matter what.

Which leads into the third thing that it’s insane to think they’re meant to be together, and them fusing at the end is good when the entire rest of the movie screams otherwise. Like it’s romanticized the scene where they fuse into one person while their favourite song plays.

Second is that the guy, while she’s unconscious from bleeding and after she just begged to kill one of them to stop this from happening to both of them, he decides to fuse their arms together. Without her consent. Also he has sex with her while she’s working at a school.

So first off is they are forcibly indoctrinated into this religion. One of their neighbours even slits her wrist to try and make it happen faster.

But these 2 characters are awful with each other, specifically the woman hates her man and the movie is a slow burn of supernatural events pushing them together until the climax where the main guy combines himself with the girl and they begin to become 1 person.

The whole movie they can’t get along, there’s never a moment it seems they love each other. They should break up. But through supernatural forces from a ruined church that took Plato’s idea of humans being split in two halves literally and tried to connect two people together.

I feel like I’m developing the trauma that every rivals player gets that occurs from hearing ult voicelines.

Just played so much marvel rivals and even with those games that feel unwinnable there was so many games that felt so fun. Like there were some games I just never died as magneto and kept picking off characters with the cannon. Mains rn are Mag, Emma, HT, Loki, Luna.

I was so devastated and so angry but I continued to look for items in missable areas, and when I went to the swamp route instantly found a shiny Goomy! It’s too perfect of a story. The fall and then the immediate redemption! And this was all done right next to my best friend.
