The line at Wildwood Baptist Church in Clinton currently. Some voters who just cast their ballot had waited for 2 and a half hours. I’m told this polling location has run out of ballots at least 5 times and have been restocked w/ less than 100 ballots every couple hours. @WLBT

A balloon release was held in Brookhaven tonight for 23-year-old Myrtessia Catchings. She was a manager at this Waffle House and was shot and killed early Monday. It’s obvious that she was loved by many. More tonight on @WLBT at 10.

A 3-year-old boy experienced a stroke after testing positive for #COVID19 the week before Christmas. He was treated at Columbia’s Women’s and Children’s Hospital and is expected to fully recover. His mom hopes that his experience leads to more awareness about the virus.

UPDATE: While officials with JSU continue to stay tight-lipped about the investigation, we’ve confirmed that JPD got a call about a man shot near JSU’s campus on 10/15 at 9:26 p.m… less than 30 mins b4 the suspect was apparently seen 89 miles away. @WLBT

Today marks 2 weeks since Joshua Brown was arrested for a killing on #JSU campus. Since then, multiple witnesses have pointed to surveillance video and claimed he’s innocent. A police source tells me JSU could release Brown and indict him later if they find more evidence. @WLBT

Those witnesses include the suspect’s girlfriend, friend, and roommate. Of the three, only the girlfriend has apparently been contacted by investigators. She says the interview w/ them lasted less than 10 mins and consisted of 1 question. @WLBT

BREAKING: US Marshals trying to serve a warrant to a young man off Sherwood Drive in Canton. No word on what he’s accused of, but we do know he has barricaded himself inside of his home. Madison County Sheriffs Office, Canton PD, Gluckstadt PD and US Marshals on scene. @WLBT
