FORMER 343 EMPLOYEE EXPOSES 343. Jesse Snyder, who had worked on Call of Duty, says 343 wanted him to make Halo 4 like CoD. 343 lacks consistent and cohesive vision which former employees also told me. P.S. If anyone at 343 wants to contact me anonymously my email is in bio.
@thejessesnyder
was the creator of Call of Duty's Zombies mode. In the past, 343 has said multiple times that they weren't copying CoD, most fans knew it was a lie but this has confirmed we were lied to, another lie like so many others that 343 has told and continues to.
The interview with Snyder is from 2019 but found recently. I was contacted. As my friends said in the thread below which contains info former 343 employees told me, leadership is not the only reason why the Halo IP has declined. Some of the devs are too.
Last year I was contacted by a former 343 employee who was there since the start. She was employee 7, before Frank. She had also worked with Bonnie before. She was a face of the franchise; she moderated all the panels, started the community team and helped produce the game...
To those at 343 or former employees reading this, if you want to share anything about 343 or Halo you can email me. There's a lot going on at Microsoft, things even some on the inside aren't aware of. I can't say why but any info of your experience at 343 is appreciated.
There's a reason why we posted that thread about 343 and why I posted the info about UE5 a few days ago (excluding the reason I gave recently). I wanted to talk about this here as it's likely this post will be seen by a lot of people since the first tweet is catchy.
I'll be posting more about 343 in the coming weeks as it's important for people to know the damage they've done to the Halo franchise. There's still a lot that many fans and outsiders are unaware of.
@haileyx24
Lmao why am I not surprised. A COD dev wanting to make Halo more Halo than the actual developers of Halo. Says everything about 343. Take the IP away from them MS.
@thejessesnyder
you're a legend for saying this.
@haileyx24
Wow, the amount of times
@franklez
and I think
@JoshingtonState
said that they weren't trying to copy Call of Duty... now we have an actual former dev saying they wanted to copy COD. Frankie my guy, things just keep getting worse for you and 343. Why did you lie to fans?
@haileyx24
Yeah I think halo infinite going to be the last hurrah of Halo. UE5 is not good for halo nor is the devs working on it. Xbox should just give the IP to ID Software to bring halo back to a mature rating or shelve it until they can actually do it justice
@haileyx24
It always goes back to Cod even crysis went down that road. They made Crysis 2 like Call of Duty. Linear straight to the point shooter.
Still a fun game don't get me wrong but the open world element crisis was known for was gone. Thankfully 3 fixed it a bit.
@haileyx24
I think 343 being the way it is has to do with Microsoft. Seeing the success of cod after halo 3, they clearly wanted some of that pie. The whole idea of creating a studio to make halo and not hiring fans and specifically making it a rule to not hire anyone from bungie ->
