Proud to announce that we have been adopted by
@OfficialASRoma
@ASRomaEN
look forward to working closely with them over the next year. Thanks for the shirts. Hopefully this influence other big clubs to get involved with grassroots community teams across the world
When I look at this image. And see their innocence I hope nobody ever takes it away. I hope no gangs ever recruits them. I hope that although they are from different parts of Hackney they always remember that they were friends and brothers first at
@hackneywickfc
We have been adopted by Seria A giants
@OfficialASRoma
for non league day and hope to announce a collaborative project over the next year Forza Roma Forza Wickers
The boy don’t speak English but attends every Friday to play football on his own. However he wars flip flops even though it’s cold and raining. Would like to speak with his family so we can register him properly and get him boots.
Please DM me if you speak Italian and available
Unfortunately we had to abandon the match with 10 minutes to go with the score 2-2 after our player Flex collapsed on the pitch. Thank God he is okay but thanks to all at the club, our opponents Park View and our landlords
@withamtownfootballclub
who assisted.
Chairman duties
@emiratesfacup
we are ready. Whatever the result today just remember a man from the hood got out of jail and started his own semi pro club and we are now playing in the preliminary round of the FA CUP. Don’t sleep on that. Go create your own story today.
As funny as it sounds the away trips are the furthest some of the players ever travel from their area. It gives them that form of escapism from the negative that sometimes surrounds them. The issue is lots of gang members think the world only exist of their area
3 years ago councillor Sharer asked what he could do to support our young members. We told him boots for the most at needs. A week later this happened 💪🏿
THIS IS 23 YEAR OLD VICTORY FROM Hackney Wick Football Club HE RECENTLY ACHIEVED HIS MASTERS IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING AND SEEKING OPPORTUNITIES. WHO HAS THE LINKS?
HACKNEY IS ONE OF THE ONLY BOROUGHS IN LONDON WITHOUT A GROUND FOR SEMI PROFESSIONAL LEVEL FOOTBALL. HACKNEY WICK CONTINUES TO BE HOMELESS. INTRINSIC TO HACKNEY BUT WITH NO PIN ON THE MAP. THE BLACKOUT BADGE REPRESENTS BEING HIDDEN IN PLAIN SIGHT.
Despite the obstacles we made it happen. They said you can’t get all these kids together under one roof. There will be gang rivalries. They will bring knives. It will be dangerous. Blud Bruvvas can’t sponsor. All was important was that we get them there and make it happen
We are given away
@hackneywickfc
jerseys to two lucky winners. These kits symbolise a united front against knife crime. All you need to do is comment ✌🏾on the
@hackneywickfc
page and your name will be put into the hat. we will do a live draw at the end of the month. GOODLUCK
League table not looking good for us but take a look at our new home from 2018/19 whatever league we may be playing in. London Community Track Stadium adjacent to the London Stadium oh by the way
@WestHamUtd
say hello to your new noisy neighbours
Apologies for the swearing. But this Young’s man approached as he’s a big fan of the YouTube channel and I’ve now invited him to get his FA level one qualifications with us and his DBS so he can become a coach

GOOD LUCK!
An experience many of our young people never have. Many don’t leave their estates. We took our young team 90 miles away to Holland On Sea. We lost 2-1 and got knocked out but the important thing is leaving your neighbourhood and taking part in positive activities
Just signed an agreement to move into Coles Park Stadium and groundshare with Haringey Borough FC. This has been approved by Thurlow Nunn and Bostik Leagues
This young man has worked hard to keep out of trouble and listened to advice to go university and get a degree in Sports coaching and community development. I want others to follow his example to see the legit route is better than the roads. Do you have any opportunities for him?
The story of our life. We got to run a community organisation which relies on weekly subscriptions to help the youths but the issue is they can’t always afford it. Meaning the club going in debt and having to subsidise the costs. But we can’t turn them away or the gangs take em.
Two boys I mentor. One is 18 year old Andre. Getting into trouble. Second is 20 year old Alusine, making positive strides. But for our trip to
@10DowningStreet
I have decided to take Andre because he needs the experience more so we can really extract him from that life.
Football can change lives and unites the community. This is why we felt it was important to give the Borough of Hackney it’s first semi professional football club. Something that represented ALL and something they could al be proud of
One of the reasons for United Against Knife Crime Match - some of these youths don’t venture out of their own estates. There are many reason of which one is fear. We are trying to unify the youths of London and get them all to
#thinkoutsidetheblox
WE HAVE BEEN RELEGATED FROM THE 9th LEAGUE TO THE 10th LEAGUE BUT WHAT A JOURNEY. THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO HAS FOLLOWED US THIS YEAR. BOTTOM OF THE TABLE BUT TOP IN COMMUNITY SPIRIT
#OURBOROUGHOURCLUB
We were absolutely robbed of two good goals yesterday. Linesmen need to be fit enough to keep up with the pace at any level of football. These two decisions are just awful when you rewatch. Especially the second when then player clearly sprints past two players
I met this lad as a 17 year old in a McDonald’s 2015 and recruited him to our club. Hackney born and raised. He scored our first ever FA CUP Goal yesterday then set up the second
@Jaymb16
Many thanks to
@Withamtownfc
who will be accommodating us next season ensuring we keep our semi professional status. This again highlights the lack of infrastructure in place in the borough of Hackney. We will now endeavour with our consortium to have our facilities very soon
Happy Birthday to us. 4 YEARS AGO TODAY
@hackneywickfc
WAS LAUNCHED. Me and the bro
@bryhe_
wanted to create a community organisation based around what people loved doing. It’s been a bumpy ride but we still here. 4 year anniversary. Who would have imagined it.
All 7 of these young people were in the squad that reached semi finals last night. 5 actually played the match. 1 of them scored. The other is our top scorer. We are the only division 1 team left in the cup with the rest Premier teams.Can we do the unthinkable and lift the cup?
This guy will go down in history as our first ever ever player. First to score a hat trick too and longest serving. Today we salute him because he has graduated. Known this gentleman for nearly 4 years hardworking young man. Glad we have been to mentor him through the years
All under the age of 21 playing semi professional football
Reason I started the club. Give young people alternative to the streets. All of them play regularly
@hackneywickfc
He has been with us since he was 16. Now a man. One of our own
@henzolorenzo
has now completed his training and just joined the army. Here he proudly remembers the fallen. We are proud of you
To encourage more young girls to play football. We are offering free girls football for the whole of August. These lucky two even managed free boots 👊🏿
Our home kit made number 33 in top 100 kits in the world this year and the away kit was number 31.
@nikefootball
@nikelondon
can we make a new one for next season?
They said it couldn’t be done. All cultures. All areas. All causes. Togethers as ONE.
@32boroughcup
32 teams, 600 youths were today kept occupied and off the streets in positive activities
#thinkoutsidetheblox
looking at more prisons to play against. So far we have met HMP Stocken and HMP Portland and it has been amazing for everyone involved. If you’re a prison governor get in touch or if you know a prison governor, let them know and
@metpoliceuk
@HMPFullSutton
@HMP_Woodhill
@hmpps
Ex gang member who spent time in prison but came out to start a community organisation that impacts the youth and culture. The other is breaking boundaries as a female, black African Muslim leading the charge in challenging the narrative on what women’s roles in football.
In the midst of the boycott in social media today. We felt it was important to highlight the positives out there instead of allowing the racist to win. While you have shut down for the day, they are still spreading their hate. So instead of boycotting today we choose to inspire
We are so happy that out under 14s player Louison is signing for Tottenham. One of the humblest and most hardworking youth we know. This is a video he made last year on why he comes to
@hackneywickfc
THIS IS WHY WE STARTED THE CLUB. TO GIVE YOUTHS FROM HACKNEY THAT OPPORTUNITY.
The players who lie on their CV. We are all about giving opportunities but don’t lie about playing for teams when the internet exists. And don’t be afraid to start with the reserves and prove yourself
Someone tell
@hackneycouncil
to find us some space for a stadium please. We risk losing some of our best youngsters to other boroughs because we can’t provide the facilities to keep them.
@HWFC_Academy
just won EJA league which should highlight the talent pool here
Youths have the wrong role models. It’s time to re educate them so they can choose new leaders. At
@hackneywickfc
its what we do. We give them the raw truth. No hold bars.
#wethinkoutsidetheblox
The best goal keeper in non league football. I kid you not. This year he has faced 16 penalties and only 3 gone in. Including shootouts. Player of the season by a country mile
At the 32 Borough Cup I named this player from
@risingballers
the best forward of the tournament. 2 months later he’s signed a professional contract with a Premier League team. He wasn’t looking to happy on the pic on the left as they lost in the final but now he’s a pro.
This Thursday. If I’m Year 11 or 12 come have trials for our football college which begins in September. Study for a BTEC whilst training full time and playing in a competitive league. THINK OUTSIDE THE BLOX
5 years ago today
@HackneyWickFC
was launched. Wish us happy birthday. See the Story from the beginning. When we had no badge, no kits, no sponsors, no players.
Delightful chip by 18 year old Sergi to score his second in our recent match vs
@enfieldborofc
Great team goal involving Gibbo, Val and Jermaine too
@hackneywickfc
