There's really no question here. If you take the lump sum, put it into a fund like RGAGX (use 15%) & give yourself an annual allowance equal to what the annuity payment would be, you'd end up with around ten billion dollars in the fund at the end of the 30 years.

ICE raided a Hyundai plant in Georgia yesterday, claiming it was looking for “unlawful employment practices and other serious federal crimes.”. There are no serious immigration “crimes.” Oh no, somebody doesn’t have the right piece of paper! Give me a break.

Yes, I believe Americans are entitled to a society and playing field in which they can earn a living wage if they work hard for it -- not one that monied elites can import cheaper labor - no matter how skilled - to rip the opportunity out of the land of opportunity. Crazy, no?.
Call this what it is: entitlement. Some conservatives don't want competition from hardworking immigrants who outwork & outperform them. And here I'd been told progressives are the ones against merit.
