I’m not quite sure why I like this painting but I do. The sky against the yellow of the crop in the field is fantastic . Some will say it’s bleak and it almost is. The artist is John Rodgers Cox (1915-1990) Indiana artist

When I was posting men and cats I forgot two…I’ll send them now. This is a painting by Gianni Strino. ( Italian artist). I know it looks like a photograph but it isn’t. He knows how to paint light and shade.
I’m not quite sure what It is about Geraniums in plant pots. I think with me it’s seeing them on my parents bedroom windowsill. My mother had a love/ hate relationship with them as she hated cleaning the bits that came off. Linda Jacobus painted these beauties
Stunning painting. The artist is Isono Hirohito (1945-2023). He had an affinity for trees, forests and nature. What’s more he painted them with a gentle eye.
