On Fri, Pride Club started @LGBTHM by getting @AcademyWalkden to vote for our LGBT Progress Icon. We came out with a tie, our winners are Marsha P Johnson, for starting the stonewall riots + @stephenfry for his decades of tireless activism, educating others + hilarious comedy 🏳️🌈

On Weds, @AcademyWalkden hosted the 1st round of the @Debate_Mate UDL Mancs. The 3 schools who attended were so polite, Walkden A won both debates being the top team at the competition, Walkden B + Swing gained lots of points too. So proud of my eloquent debaters #teamwalkden 🎖

So inspired after @TheProudTrust Diversity Conference to create the Groups in Schools Alliance for LGBT school representation. I was enthused by the other passionate staff with new ideas + Pride Club made friends with other LGBT+ youth, connecting them together is so important 🏳️🌈
