VOLUNTEERING.The Foodbank has a core group of 14 volunteers. Through volunteering the foodbank also supports people with special needs or disabilities to learn new skills and develop confidence. 8 volunteers helped weekly on average providing 1,050 volunteer hours in 2024.🐝💚

YOUR DONATIONS 💚.We’re dependent on food donations from schools and churches in Wythenshawe. Other fundraising helps with our food stock and provides some foodbank referrals with financial support. Without your support it wouldn’t be possible to run the foodbank. Thank you 🙏

NOT JUST A FOODBANK.Our community Centre provides support and advice on debt/benefits through the Law Society. The foodbank has also supported families moving into new homes from a women’s refuge towards buying household items (eg curtains, cutlery) 🐝💚

Providing a food parcel/voucher is only part of what the foodbank offers. It’s a welcoming space. It provides a safe environment and listening ear. Other support is often provided. Some access the support offered by groups based at the Centre (eg. Mend Minds, SEND Together) 💚
