On watch⚓️.Always 🛳️. For every second that we spend at sea, Officers of the Watch stand on the Bridge keeping us on course. 🚢. Through a watch system of four hour chunks, the OOWs serve as our eyes & ears.🕛🕓🕗🕛

Clear communication can save lives! 📡. One of MEDWAY's most important jobs after a natural disaster is to help understand the situation on the ground. Going ashore to set up comms links, assess the situation and relaying the message back to ensure the right help comes⛑️

Time is crucial after a hurricane 🕑. Our expert Commando Troop are trained to quickly react when and wherever required @CO24Cdo . They are ready to provide reconnaissance, set up communications and engineering support 🦅🎙️🏗️

MEDWAY in the beautiful TCI! 🇹🇨. Overlooking Grand Turk we spent the weekend training on the beautiful white sand beaches. 🏝️. The ship conducted a major exercise to prove our readiness to land and sustain support ashore. Keep scrolling for more on this incredible trip.

Today we congratulate and say farewell to our two Officer trainees as they complete their Combined Fleet Time. Next stop: @DartmouthBRNC to finish their Warfare training. You can’t beat learning the ropes at sea and on Ops in the Caribbean!

MDWY’s embarked IST (Initial Sea Time - Phase 1 Officer training) celebrated the end of their six weeks onboard with a BBQ to show appreciation for their Shipmates. They return to @DartmouthBRNC to finalise their training ahead of their pass out parade.
