🥑🍊 Did you know you can grow avocados & persimmons in Hawaiʻi? Avocados can be found in warm, lowland regions. Persimmons, on the other hand, prefer colder areas such as Kula from Hashimoto's Kula Persimmons. These were found at our Mililani Farmers' Market from King's Farm.

Our Executive Director is back on the road! 🐮 This past weekend, he represented the Hawai'i Farm Bureau at the Hawai'i Cattlemen's Council Annual Convention and Meeting. Before leaving, he even spotted Governor Josh Green and HCC's Managing Director Nicole Galase.

🚧 Construction for the Central Oʻahu Agriculture and Food Hub has begun. 🚧 Today, HFB Executive Director Brian Miyamoto joined by state and community leaders, took part in this momentous occasion. Mahalo to everyone who helped bring this project to life.
