Irish split DH vs. Watervliet 13-3 and 1-5. In G1, @Brooks_Baz had a solid outing (5IP, 4H, 3R, 5K); Offense led by 3 players with 3H each: @Nemmer_48, @Tyler_Brand4 and @max_gerl. Walbridge strong in relief in G2 (3.2IP, 3H, 0R, 2K).

Irish celebrated two Hackett baseball icons, as 2021 State Champions @BrendenCollin15 and @nickverduzco1 saw their numbers hung on the fence following G1. The 3-time All Staters and @HopeCollegeBSB teammates led Hackett to combined two Regional Championships and a State title.

Irish split SAC crossover games, losing to Bridgman 11-10 and beating Saugatuck 12-2. @PrestonCosby77 led the way with 5H on the day, followed by @max_gerl and Higgins with 4H apiece. @Brooks_Baz 2H and 3 RBI in G2. Defense needs to get it together while bats are heating up.

Irish beat K Central 18-1 in opening game of Kzoo City tournament. Offense led by Walbridge, @Tyler_Brand4 and @Tyler_Beach_2 with 3 hits each and @Nemmer_48 and @max_gerl with two hits apiece. Lost in Championship to K Christian 6-3, despite two hits from Higgins and @max_gerl.
