New York City has reported 273 COVID-19 cases per day, with a 19% average decrease from last week. There have been a total of 3,362,203 reported cases since the pandemic began. In this study, at-home testing did not account for the substantial undercount of cases.

As of April 24th 2023 , the most recent COVID-19 update available from the CDC shows the lowest levels of infection rates in all 5 Boroughs of NYC since the start of the pandemic. There has also been a decline in the number of Covid patient hospitalizations in NYC as well.
