What a poor remark from Sir Alex the Statistics produced by Prozone delivered a very accurate picture. Man Utd were unhappy that I publicly supported Alan Wiley by ensuring the media had the facts. Reality not perception.

Not sure Durkin or Winter were in the same bracket but miles better than ones today.

I was able to provide Prozone Statistics that placed Alan Wiley towards the top of all the stats compared to the players who plays in his game.

Jeff Winter was outstanding and a great man manager with outstanding communication skills. He displayed courage and never shirked the big decisions. I was sat in the stands for n one occasion at Anfield. Not one note in my book. A great display of officiating was evident.

Poll was a World Class referee and with his Assistants delivered top class performances in the Premier League week in week out. He also had top FIFA appointments. What’s your point?.Ferguson and Wenger also liked Poll.

@EPLBible @MikaelReferee It's truly amazing that @HACKETTREF never did anything to have his referees get a handle Arsenal vs. Manchester United game. Whether it was Poll, Riley, or Bennett. It was all the same.

I wish Paul’s son all the very best. Paul was along with a small group a terrific Coach when I was in charge. Sadly Mr Riley suspended with his Coaching role when he took over.
