What an absolute mess that Football Governance can allow owners of Football Clubs to behave in such a manner that we have witnessed at S6. The new Regulator must operate with transparency so this is the last time fans are hung out to dry.
@AlanBiggs1 Danny has them over a barrel now as it's very obvious Ped has been appointed as a manager, whilst his contract says assistant. Danny can claim constructive dismissal on this. Should have agreed a mutual termination months ago. We're going to end up paying to get rid.

Ken I could not get time off work to officiate the Euro Final so GC stepped in. Yes I had an Achilles tendon injury which ruled me out of the WC again GC stepped in.
@HACKETTREF By, you were very unfortunate in missing out on a European Club Final. Am I correct in saying you also missed out on refereeing at the 1990 World Cup in Italy due to injury?.

Clive White was an outstanding referee. I ran him the line in Monaco. I watched his performance close up. Brilliant and loved the sun.
@darren_key @HACKETTREF A great era of officialdom. Admittedly, the rules were simpler and there was no tv interrogation but there were characters like CliveThomas and Roger Kirkpatrick as well as steady, calm refs like Joe and Clive White. Only bland robots now!.

They do a great job and I hope that they can get settlement without having to go on strike. 29% looks unreasonable.
I’m sorry but I just cannot have any sympathy with junior doctors demanding a 29% pay rise from the public purse when they were awarded 22% last year.

I arrived at Rotherham Utd one evening greeted by the Chairman. He invited me for a pre- match meal. Food at halftime. Amazing.John asked if I had enjoyed the visit. I said I have never received such treatment. John had informed the Chairman I was interested in buying the club. !.
