I hope everyone who wanted Australia out of the live sheep trade for ‘animal welfare’ is very fucking pleased with themselves.

Somalia’s livestock exports are receiving a boost from fading Australian and Sudanese competition, which could help drive its shipments above $1 billion this year.

It seems a little disproportionate the federal government is throwing $690m at Swiss owned Glencore copper mine compared with a token $143m for the $1b sheep industry which is being decimated by the decision to ban the live trade. Mum and Dad sheep farmers support communities!

"It's pronounced 'Bouquet' dear, 'Bouquet'" Sage words on ageing from the vantage point of a well seasoned 95 year old 👇🏻
Rest in peace, Patricia Routledge 🙏🏻 In memory of her, I encourage everyone to read these words of hers from February last year. Whether young or old, you're bound to get something out of it. ***** "I’ll be turning 95 this coming Monday. In my younger years, I was often

Bloody feather dusters chewing on our crop, like it is their right and we grew it for them anyway. We had planted the safflower early so it should be another foot higher and spikey, it didn’t come up until July rain.

You read this correctly. 4th record WA crop in 5 years. Yes rainfall patterns are changing, & yes we are in a warming period. But NO, agriculture is not producing less. It is more bountiful than ever in history. It's time the govt & their departments spoke honestly about this.
WA grain farmers look set to harvest a crop bigger than 20 million tonnes for the fourth time in five years, after breaking through what many thought was an unachievable barrier for the first time in 2021. @Countryman1885

What an awesome individual Dr McKenzie Little is to juggle surgical residency and be a world class athlete. I would imagine juggling scalpels and javelins quite tricky. 😁 https://t.co/LskaWXp0eF

Mackenzie Little's second-successive World Athletics Championships bronze medal is an amazing achievement, all the more so considering she's a full-time surgical resident.

I do reckon that the benefit of a toxic algae outbreak is that it impacts nearly everyone that lives on that particular bit of coast. More and more everyone should realise that Mother Nature can be a right bitch and you can’t hide. https://t.co/gYVxXyIrVO
