Not sure about that new capital city l project but I think they've built some high speed rail which is cool.
If they could get a bigger foothold on global trade that would be huge, unfortunately Singapore kinda snatched that from them.

Indonesia has to be the least culturally relevant country relative to its size. 4th most populated in the world, biggest Muslim nation, huge archipelago, but what is it really known for? Palm oil? A tsunami in 2004? Huge country just chilling there with no bearing on the world.

I think they'll start to get become more relevant over the next few decades.
They have some of the highest internet connectivity in the world, and seem to be developing really nicely.

Yeah, not sure on the new capital, its probably necessary but going to be hard to pull off.
It's just every time I got to Indonesia they have better roads, airports, commercial buildings, infrastructure. I'm impressed with the gradual improvements
