Again, it was surreal to be a part of this, alongside all the great team that worked on the intro. I'm very grateful to Mathias Schrek and Nadine Schwenk for their guidance (we spent many afternoons working on this together)

I got to 'design' the smear frames and movements Gumball's 3D face would do during the very first shot. The silhouettes you see were then used in comp as guide. (I traced over the 3D models which were already finished at this point in time).

Without the camera tracking, the characters linger in the screen during the last shot. Haha.

Same with Carrie's wipe transition in the hallway shot - in the end that transition got handled differently, but you can still see Carrie lunging at the screen in the final version if you look closely.

In the dancing shot you can see Ocho and the creepy clown giving their best, although, at the end, they didn't make the cut. But they are there, in spirit.
