Play until you lose events are amazing structures timewise because you only play when live for the top prize, no time is spent in the 1-1 brackets. A large amt of prize being distributed to lower prizing = more ppl spending time battling in the 1-2 brackets instead of moving on.

Friendly prizing arguably encourages more volume so there is a balance but 50% going infinite seems unsustainable. Single-Elim events are amazing for spikier players, they used to run 64 man vintage cube events, if they copied that structure for constructed it would be amazing.

Didn't realize how badly the modo economy is doing. Chests down -25% since last year. Set Redemption down -80%. Splitting a challenge final now = ~125. Last year = ~240. Outside of Redemptions, the fact you can go infinite on a 50% winrate on modo I'd imagine causes issues

Their margin is close to 50% not including royalties to FF. So they made close to 100m in a day with final fantasy.

Last deck. Got the classy double hunt the mark interaction, and got to play some utility towns to enable Travel the Overworld.

This was probably built wrong, but Golbaz + Matoya was a pretty nice combo. Golbaz + Hunt the Mark is also strong. I ran Cryptic at first but it was stressing me out so I just cut it for Anima which might have been wrong. I kept changing the mana, no idea why I had 2 map 0 ball

This was a more straight-forward soup deck, but Evil Reawakened + Sorceress Schemes made for a pretty satisfying lategame. SinSpira reanimating a bunch of lands could also combo with Gladiolus though that never came up.

One thing that can be fun about sealed is having weird combos come up, Clash of Eikons + Zidane is very strong!. I also played 41 cards here because decking was an issue and I had so much air.

Monstrous Rage didn't see tier1 play in standard until Bloomburrow, then with mice a narrative formed that this was some supremely broken card which I never got. I don't get why Giant Growth is so offensive to people. Heartfire/Manifold was the problematic aspect in my eyes.
