If you do not wish to enter a chili, come for lunch and participate as a judge! For $5 (cash only please), you’ll get to sample each of the chilis, receive a bowl of your favourite chili, a bun and a can of pop! All proceeds from the event will support MCB's 2024 Adopt-A-Family.

To enter your chili in the contest, please complete this Qualtrics survey by Friday, February 16, 2024. On the day of the event, participants will bring their chili in a slow cooker to the MCB 4th-floor lounge (SSC 4462) over the lunch hour.

In honor of National Chili Day, MCB-GSC will be hosting the MCB ANNUAL CHILI COOK-OFF!! Individuals or labs are invited to enter their chili to be judged by members of MCB and the winner will take home the Golden Ladle!! Please look at the following tweets for more info.

Valentine’s cards and donation box will be in the 4th floor administration suite (SSC 4476). In your card, please include the recipient's name and lab room #. Candy Grams and Valentines will be delivered on Feb 14th. We are suggesting a $2.00 minimum donation for each Candy Gram.

Happy Valentine's Day MCB! . The MCB-GSC is hosting it’s first fundraiser of the year for our 2024 Adopt-A-Family. From February 5th until February 9th, you can purchase a Valentine’s Candy Gram to be sent to another member of the MCB department.

Thanks to everyone who submitted a pumpkin and voted in our carving contest! Congratulations to everyone because our department really put on a great show. But it's a contest, so of course there will be winners. Stay tuned to find out who gets bragging rights for this year!.

Hey MCB! The department is hosting a summer BBQ on Thursday, June 22nd (the day after the CBS BBQ). Come down to the Arboretum Centre for food, lawn games and prizes. Please RSVP by Friday (16th) which will also get you a chance to win door prizes. RSVP in the link in the thread
