A sad & shocking news! I don’t tweet often, but I felt such an urge to tweet today. It was @sirfrasersays brought me to tweeter and advocate science. The stories of his generosity and support for young are endless. Just his last days, he was still writing support letters for me.

Thirteen years later, everything has changed, and yet nothing has changed. So fortunate to know both of you and look forward to the years to come.

Super proud to host talented Casandrah Catterton as our REU this summer! I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw her self-designed and a dozen hand-made logos for our lab! And my group self-organized a farewell party for her. The Liu group always surprises me in such a great way!

The bad news is that I will quarantine in a hotel for another unknown number of days so that the bug doesn’t reach my months-old at home. But the good news is that I will get an upgrade from a dorm bed to a regular bed. And oh yay! It comes with a bathroom!!!

After the @GordonConf polymers, I have finally lost my COVID virgin. Although I was wearing a mask most of the time, those who had contact may want to check out too.

Like the quote “They suggest their process is scalable and even went so far as to calculate the cost of building a plant”. Never a big fan of quick papers. The idea came from UV-lithography experiments back in 2007. Thanks to my PhD advisor for allowing me work in WI synchrotron
