A sad & shocking news! I don’t tweet often, but I felt such an urge to tweet today. It was @sirfrasersays brought me to tweeter and advocate science. The stories of his generosity and support for young are endless. Just his last days, he was still writing support letters for me.
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Sir Fraser Stoddart, Nobel Laureate and cherished member of @NorthwesternU. His groundbreaking contributions transformed the field of #chemistry and inspired countless scientists worldwide. ➡️
