Very sad to hear of the passing of Peter Gadsby. Enjoyed great success in harness racing as the owner of Double Identity and Smoken Up to name just two but he had many more. Met him at the 2004 Inter Dominion in Perth and spent a great two weeks with Peter and his wife Wendy.

10 years ago to the day I left Sky Racing for the first time. A lot of water has flowed under the bridge since. Time definitely moves very fast.

The biggest issue is that racing is funded by punters. If punters don’t have trust in the product they won’t bet. Never bite the hand that feeds you. A change of tactics rule is all about perception.
