🇬🇱 Today in Nuuk @KodArctic hosted a special event aboard the Norwegian tall ship Statsraad Lehmkuhl ⛵ The Chairship invited for a kaffemik with music and Arctic games, and offered visitors a chance to visit the Arctic Council booths and chat with members of the Chairship team.

”Greenland is facing a changing security landscape. I am pleased with the steps we are taking towards increased security in and around Greenland with this partial defence agreement,” Vivian Motzfeldt, Minister of Statehood and Foreign Affairs.
New agreement is the first step towards strengthening the presence of the Danish Defence in the Arctic and North Atlantic Region. New Arctic vessels and long-range drones are among the initiatives. The next step is an additional agreement in the first half of 2025.
