Yum! We recently hosted a @BarrFdn staff outting at our Teaching Kitchen. The room was filled to the brim with collaboration and joy- we're so grateful to be in community with partners who invest in the environmental justice work we're doing in Chelsea and East Boston.

Linda Munitz and Rob Caro are longtime members of the Chelsea Community Garden, where they have volunteered dozens of hours! As they retire, GreenRoots wants to recognize their leadership. Thank you, Rob and Linda!

GreenRoots Board Treasurer Marcos Luna was recognized at the State’s Latino Leadership celebration, nominated by State Representative Adrian Madaro. We’re honored and privileged to have Marcos on Team GreenRoots!

This past Wednesday, our ECO Youth led a Bike Tour bringing together local youth and residents for a fun fall event! 🚲 This is just one of the many ways ECO Youth fosters community-building through youth-led activities and strengthens connections with local youth networks. 🍂

We have so much love for our outgoing teammate, Ruth Alcantara! 💚 Ruth served as GreenRoots' Environmental Justice and Anti-Displacement Fellow for two years and worked part-time with the Comunidades Enraizadas Community Land Trust. Thank you so much, Ruth. We will miss you!
