Today is #worldembroideryday and what better way to celebrate, than by celebrating our own Tapestry! Although called a Tapestry, our work of art is technically an embroidery and our 165 panels cover millions of years of Scotland’s Story!. What’s your favourite panel?

Sir Walter Scott was born #OnThisDay in 1771 and features in Panel 82. He is still well regarded today for his novels and poems, but #DidYouKnow he was also involved in the rediscovery of the Crown Jewels of Scotland and the 1822 visit of King George IV to Scotland!
