Failure to address these demands promptly will compel the Students' Union to explore all legitimate avenues, including protests, legal action, and calls for regulatory intervention by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).

We demand the following immediate and decisive action from the management of Elin Air and Elin Group Limited: 1. An unreserved public apology to the assaulted student, the entire OAU student community, and the university, for this reprehensible conduct by one of your personnel.

Such high-handedness is not only a gross violation of human rights but also an affront to the dignity of Obafemi Awolowo University students. We, the leadership of the Students' Union, stand solidly with the victim and the entire student body, and as such,

displayed by the perpetrator. No amount of "security protocol" justifies the physical harassment and assault of a defenseless student on our own campus. The victim posed no threat to the aircraft or its crew; he was merely celebrating a momentous occasion.

In shocking display of arrogance, the pilot in question resorted to barbaric violence, kicking and slapping a student who was already apologizing and retreating. This act of aggression was captured on video and has since gone viral, exposing the sheer arrogance and abuse of power

While the singer was attending to official engagements on campus, enthusiastic students gathered around the parked helicopter at the Sports Complex to catch a glimpse of Asake before he leaves, and take photographs; an innocent and harmless act driven by curiosity and admiration

Asake was graciously invited by the Head of the Department of Dramatic Arts to visit his alma mater, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. His arrival via helicopter brought immense pride and excitement to the entire Great Ife community.
